Betsy Morgan has a blog!!

I'm just popping in to say that Betsy Morgan, the woman who designed and taught the Toy Chest Etui, has started a blog!  You can see more of her class pieces and her class schedule there.  Here's a link to her blog:  Willing Hands.  There's also a link on my sidebar.  Keep in mind, the pictures don't do her pieces justice at all.  They are all so gorgeous!  I wanted to take every class possible, plus buy all the kits she was selling.  I restrained myself and only ordered a few of the kits.  :D   Here's a picture of the class I took again, just to refresh your memory.

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled program......   Happy 4th, everyone!

Oh my gosh, Margaret! One of the women in our guild, Nancy, had stitched and finished this whole set. It was beyond gorgeous! The little drum, the chest, the whole thing - so pretty! Thanks for the link.

Hi Margaret - I took a class from Betsy at ASG a few years ago - I have a thimble case or some such thing that I did not see in her current class list - if this is not something you already bought - email me and I'll send it to you - I am going to be unloading some stash and I know I will never stitch this. I'm happy to share with a devoted fan. Mel

As Terri said, one of the girls in our Guild has done that set and it is exquisite. She had it at our last meeting. The Mill Race venue is close to me, but I doubt I'd take the class. Seems that I get so much of that stuff through my Guild and never do it so I hate shelling out all the money. But, it is a beautiful set and in person it will make you swoon!

Thanks for letting us know about Betsy Morgan's blog. I took a class from her in April at my sampler guild (a pinkeep that is of course no further done than it was at the end of the class). I also ordered a kit or two, but haven't received them yet which is just as well as I really need to finish something before I get distracted by new stuff. I'll look forward to seeing your finished Toy Chest
