Lots of pictures to bore you with.....

First off, I got back to Susan Rambo, even with secret stitching going on.  I'm pleased -- I really want to finish her up.

Susan Rambo Sampler
40ct Meadow Rue
called for NPI with substitutions

She's soooooo pretty!

I love how she's coming out.

Next, my TUSAL report.  The new moon is June 1, so I'm doing it now.

Like my bunny pincushion?  I'll have to show you my pincushion collection sometime.  This one is by Lori Ann Corelis.  I love her work!  The antique strawberry hanging from it is from Kathy Barrick.  Isn't it cool?

You can see our rhododendrons blooming too!

Remember last week when we helped the girl child move her stuff around at school?  Here are some pics she took of our wanderings in town after the move.

At the Indian restaurant.

Yum!

Sated.

Walking around town.  (I'm hiding behind the father type.)

Doing some shopping.

Saying goodbye.

Pretty good, huh?  Took the girl child a while to send me the pics, so they're a week late.

I don't know if you can tell from the pics, but the boy child got an extreme hair cut.  Here he is in all his shorn glory.

(He wasn't cooperating.)

Here are a couple he took of himself.  Works much better.  (He doesn't like having his pic taken. (Like mother, like son.))

Never thought I'd say this, but I miss his long hair.  :D   At least his senior pictures have the long hair in them.  (Why do they take senior pics at the end of junior year?  Is it like that at all high schools?)

I think I've remembered everything.   Told you I would bore you with pictures.  :D   Sorry!

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day.  Don't forget to remember and honor those who have served and are serving our country.

Mia says to take a nap.

Your Susan Rambo is beautiful. I love the colors. The picture on the front of the magazine cover doesn't do it justice but your pics sure do. You are a beautiful stitcher.
I love the coloring of the squirrels in the middle, unusually different. That's what I love about antique samplers. The colorings that are just a bit different or "off" that somehow work and are really beautiful.

I like Susan Rambo and DS's new haircut. He looks more grown up (I bet you hate to hear that).

Please post one day soon about your pincushion collection. I have been feeling lately like pincushions are taking over my life. Good to know someone else enjoys them too!

Margaret, Margaret, Margaret. (shakes head). *sigh* Another FABULOUS sampler almost done ALREADY!?!? You amaze me how much stitching you get done! I'm green with envy! I LOVE Susan Rambo! I ordered that issue specifically for her. I may buckle and order the kit that they are offering for her. I can only hope it goes as quickly for me...ha! Love the pics of the family...and of course Mia!! We need to get Jake's pics done...he's a Senior in the fall as well. He's thrilled his braces are off in time for the pics! Have a great day!

How can you say that post was boring? We got the family, the pet, some good looking food, the sweetest pincushion and bunny, and one of the most fabulous samplers from a most prolific stitcher! Whew.

My son has long hair too but it is very very curly. I like it when he takes time with it.. Senior pictures are taken here the summer before senior year. I think it has more to do with yearbook production than anything else.

Susan Rambo is really coming along. You certainly do have a speedy needle. I'm slow and just don't have the needed time to make up for my lack of speed. Gotta keep that balance thing going - that can be a challenge for me at times.

Susan Rambo is looking great! Just love the color in that one...so bright and refreshing! The family pics are great. :) My son usually grows his hair long in the winter and then cuts it short in the summer when he realizes how hot it makes him (he has very thick hair) and I just love how youthful he looks with it short! :D
